For developers who wish to make simple CSS edits (or Javascript) and don't want to go through the process of making a child theme, there are contributor modules that work well with the Web Theme.  One that we have seen a lot of success with is Asset Injector.  Please keep in mind this type of module should be used for minor edits and not to drastically alter the layout or styles of the UCSB Web Theme.  Also, any supporting modules added to the Web Theme that is not apart of the core package, it will be up to the site owners to maintain those separate modules.
